RANDO BANDO was assembled to work on behalf of a very relevant matter: raising awareness about the value of preserving and protecting every cultural heritage. This happened in the form of a game jam organized by Global Game Jam, in partnership with the U.S. State Dept. and Cultural Heritage Coordinating Commitee
Our goal, beyond exploring the event's visual ID, was to convey through an engaging animation the four themes of the game jam:
✦ Help disrupt cultural heritage looting, theft, trafficking, and destruction;
✦ Reinforce the importance of protecting and preserving cultural heritage;
✦ Educate about the effects of climate change on cultural heritage;
✦ Celebrate diverse cultural art, artifacts, traditions, and places.
